Source Color Prep
Assets to be delivered to Honest Labor:
EDL and XML/AAF for each timeline.
Collapse all layers down to one video track and remove elements not to be graded (text, graphics, overlays, FX and audio)
Disable grouped clips (compound, nested, collapsed etc.) and replace with original clips
Remove dissolves, reversals and dynamic speed changes. (Please extend shot lengths to cover removed dissolves and speed changes)
“XFER” Reference QuickTime for each EDL/XML/AAF
QT should EXACTLY MATCHES, frame for frame, the timeline to be graded.
Include burnt-in SOURCE TIMECODE and SOURCE CLIP NAME. This is critical to confirm prep is accurate.
“OFFLINE” Reference Quicktime for each approved edit
QT should approved picture locked timeline with graphics, sound and working color for reference
Camera original media to be graded
Prep is due by 4pm the business day prior to session
Color renders will be delivered with 24 frames of handles and at native res. For any other specifics please contract Honest Labor.
